A Little History:
Word Press was born out of
a desire for an elegant, well-architecture personal publishing system built on
PHP and
MySql and licensed under the Gplv2 (or later). It is the official successor of b2/cafe
log .Word Press is fresh software, but its roots and development go back to
2001. It is a mature and stable product. We hope by focusing on user experience
and Web Standards we can create a tool different from anything
else out there.

The most important thing in wordpress is Dashboard.You run/excute whole wordpress from Dashboard.The Dashboard helps to keep you
up to date on new and interesting bits of information from the many Word Press
resources. In the corner it also features a list of the most recent activity you've
accomplished on your site.
On the left side of the screen is the main navigation menu detailing each of the
administrative functions you can perform. Move your mouse down the list and the
sub-menus will "fly out" for you to move your mouse to and click.
Once you choose a "parent" navigation section, it will open up to
reveal the options within that section.
